Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reach app and related services provided by Reach Phone LLC ("Reach," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Reach, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Reach provides a second phone number for business calls and SMS. The service includes a mobile app (iOS and Android) and a web-based admin portal. Features include voice calling, text messaging, voicemail, contact management, and team number sharing.

Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Reach.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One person or entity may maintain multiple workspaces, each with its own phone number and subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Reach for any of the following:

  • Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or automated messages
  • Harassment, threats, or abuse of any kind
  • Any illegal activity, including fraud or impersonation
  • Violating telecommunications laws or regulations (including A2P messaging rules)
  • Interfering with or disrupting the service or its infrastructure
  • Reselling the service without our written permission

We comply with US telecommunications regulations including A2P 10DLC requirements for business messaging. You are responsible for ensuring your use of SMS through Reach complies with applicable messaging laws and carrier policies.

Fair Use Policy

Reach is designed for business communication. Your subscription includes reasonable use of calling and messaging as part of operating your business. To keep the service affordable and reliable for all users, the following fair use limits apply:

  • Up to 500 minutes of calling per month
  • Up to 500 text messages per month

If your usage consistently exceeds these limits, we may contact you to discuss your needs or ask you to move to a plan that better fits your usage. If we detect usage patterns inconsistent with normal business use, your account may be restricted and you may be required to verify your business before access is restored.

Rules for Messaging

You agree not to use the Service to send:

  • Messages without proper consent and opt-out language
  • Fraudulent messages, including impersonation, scams, phishing, or deceptive messages
  • Messages relating to cannabis, CBD, vape, kratom, or paraphernalia products
  • Messages relating to prescription medication
  • Messages relating to gambling, including casino apps or gambling websites
  • Messages relating to sexual or adult services
  • Messages promoting hate speech
  • Messages relating to alcohol, firearms, or tobacco products
  • Messages relating to high-risk financial services, including payday loans, cryptocurrency solicitation, or third-party lending
  • Messages relating to third-party lead generation or affiliate marketing
  • Messages relating to debt collection, consolidation, or credit repair programs
  • Messages relating to "get rich quick" schemes, pyramid schemes, or multi-level marketing

Rules for Calling

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Use Reach as a personal phone line rather than for business communication
  • Engage in traffic pumping or schemes to artificially inflate call volumes
  • Generate excessive short-duration calls or abnormal spikes in call attempts
  • Call large numbers of unique or sequential phone numbers inconsistent with normal business use
  • Routinely call conference lines, chat lines, or similar services for non-business purposes
  • Place calls without proper consent, including cold calls or prerecorded campaigns without a clear opt-out
  • Use bots, auto-dialers, or any automated calling systems
  • Spoof or manipulate caller ID information with intent to deceive or commit fraud
  • Continue calling individuals after being asked to stop
  • Engage in harassment, threats, or intimidation via calls

If you exceed these limits or exhibit any of the behaviors listed above, you may be required to verify your business before continued access to calling or messaging features. Verification is a quick process that confirms your identity and helps us maintain a safe, reliable platform for all users.

Reach reserves the right to impose limits, restrict features, or suspend your account at any time if we reasonably believe your usage is not consistent with normal, fair, and reasonable business use of the Service. Whenever reasonably possible, we will give you written notice before taking action and allow a reasonable period to modify your use.

Payments & Subscriptions

  • Reach is a paid subscription service. You may subscribe through Apple In-App Purchase (via the mobile app) or Stripe (via the web).
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • For Apple IAP subscriptions, billing and cancellation are managed through your Apple ID account settings. Apple's terms apply.
  • For Stripe subscriptions, you can manage billing through the Reach web portal or by contacting support.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not apply to your current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. For Apple IAP purchases, refund requests must go through Apple.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Reach available and reliable, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service depends on third-party infrastructure (including Twilio for telecommunications and cloud hosting providers) that may experience outages. We are not liable for interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including network outages, carrier issues, or force majeure events.

Account Termination

You may cancel your subscription and delete your workspace at any time through the app.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe abuse where immediate action is necessary. If your account is terminated for cause, you are not entitled to a refund for the remaining subscription period.

Intellectual Property

The Reach name, logo, app, and website are the property of Reach Phone LLC. You retain ownership of your own content (contacts, messages, etc.). By using Reach, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reach Phone LLC and its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Reach is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Reach is not a replacement for emergency services — do not rely on it for 999, 112, 911, or other emergency calls.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Reach shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of Reach after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
