Why can't I send texts?
US carriers require all businesses to register before sending text messages. If you see a message in the app saying you need to complete number compliance, follow these steps:
- Go to reachphone.co/compliance
- Sign in with your Reach account email
- Click Get Started under "Enable Text Messaging"
- Complete the registration (about 5 minutes)
- Wait for carrier approval (1–7 business days)
You can still receive texts and make/receive calls while your registration is pending. You just can't send texts until it's approved.

My calls show as "Spam Likely"
This usually means your number hasn't been verified with carriers. To fix it:
- Go to reachphone.co/compliance
- Complete the "Improve Your Outbound Calls" registration
- This verifies your business identity and registers your number with SHAKEN/STIR
- Once approved, carriers will recognize your calls as legitimate
This is free and usually takes just a few minutes to process.

I'm not receiving calls
Check the following:
- Is your phone connected to the internet? Reach calls use your data connection (Wi-Fi or cellular data), not your carrier's phone network.
- Are notifications enabled? Go to your phone's settings and make sure Reach has permission to send notifications.
- Are you within business hours? If you have business hours set, calls outside those hours go to voicemail. Check Settings → Business Hours.
- Is Do Not Disturb on? Your phone's DND mode may be blocking Reach notifications.
I'm not getting notifications
- iPhone: Go to Settings → Notifications → Reach → make sure Allow Notifications is on. Check that Banner Style is set to Persistent.
- Android: Go to Settings → Apps → Reach → Notifications → make sure they're enabled. Also check that battery optimization isn't killing the app in the background.
My voicemail isn't working
- Make sure you've recorded a greeting in Settings → Voicemail
- If callers say they can't leave a message, check that your number is properly provisioned — try calling your Reach number from another phone
