Voicemail & Business Hours

2 min read

Voicemail

Your Reach number comes with voicemail. When you miss a call — or when someone calls outside your business hours — they'll hear your greeting and can leave a message.

Record a greeting

  1. Open the Reach app
  2. Go to Settings → Voicemail
  3. Tap Record and speak your greeting
  4. Save

Example greeting: "Hi, you've reached [Your Name] at [Business Name]. I'm not available right now, but leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible."

Voicemail notifications

When someone leaves a voicemail, you'll get a push notification. You can listen to voicemails directly in the app — they appear in the conversation with that contact, just like a text message.

Business Hours

Business hours control when your phone rings. Outside of business hours, calls go straight to voicemail and you won't be disturbed.

Set your hours

  1. Open the Reach app
  2. Go to Settings → Business Hours
  3. Toggle on the days you work
  4. Set your start and end time for each day
  5. Save

Calls that come in outside these hours go directly to voicemail. You'll still see missed calls and voicemails in the app — you just won't get interrupted.

Auto-Reply

Auto-reply sends an automatic text message when you can't answer. It's useful for after-hours, weekends, or any time you're unavailable.

Set up auto-reply

  1. Open the Reach app
  2. Go to Settings → Auto-Reply
  3. Write your message
  4. Choose when it activates (after hours, always, or custom)
  5. Save

Example auto-reply: "Thanks for reaching out! We're currently closed but will get back to you first thing in the morning."

Auto-reply only sends once per conversation per day — so if the same person texts you multiple times, they won't get spammed with repeated auto-replies.
